Horizontal Powerdock

The Horizontal Powerdock allows for an Optima unit to be mounted virtually flush through a desk surface, keeping all socket outlets out of sight, even with plug tops still attached.
This unit is constructed in aluminium, providing excellent strength and allowing a number of finish options including paint and anodised finishes to suit any work surface. It is usually supplied with 3 power outlets with a 25mm space between the first two sockets, and facilities for 2 data/communications outlets, but can be supplied in other specifications on request.
The unit can be locked in the open position at 60? (to horizontal desktop) to allow easy connection and disconnection of plug tops. After connection, the unit can be lowered back to its recessed position leaving only the cables protruding from the desk surface.

The units are easily mounted using a rectangular shaped cut out in the desk surface (size dependent on the configuration chosen). The Powerdock is then lowered into the hole, and secured in position with two sturdy ratchet clips. Should you wish to remove the unit at a later stage, this can be done with the use of two tabs that will release the ratchet mechanism.
